Role Summary

The Driver will provide residents with transportation that is safe, dependable, courteous, and efficient. The position also includes getting the bus ready for service, keeping the vehicle in good condition, and taking active steps to place resident safety and satisfaction first.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
• A current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Applicants must meet motor vehicle record clearance standards.
• A genuine interest in working with older adults and compassion for the elderly are essential.
• Strong communication skills are needed for interaction with residents, families, team members, and the public.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Current first aid and CPR certification is required.
• Good customer service abilities are expected.
• All health requirements must be met, and background screening must be passed.
