Doorman

Role overview

We are looking for a polished, service-oriented Doorman to join a high-end residential property in Vauxhall. This position is suited to someone who can deliver a premium first impression, stay attentive throughout the day, and represent the building with a professional and welcoming presence.

Shift pattern

The rota includes a mix of morning and afternoon shifts. Typical working hours are 7:00am–1:30pm, 1:30pm–9:30pm, and 7:00am–3:00pm.

Key duties

• Greet residents and visitors with a high standard of hospitality and professionalism.
• Coordinate the movement of deliveries and couriers so arrivals are handled smoothly.
• Oversee vehicle movement within the property and help ensure the private car park is used appropriately.
• Complete routine patrols of the courtyard and surrounding external areas.
• Work collaboratively with the on-site team, which includes Day Concierges, a Luggage Porter, and the Duty Manager.
• Support valet-related tasks when needed, including transferring residents’ cars between the car park and the courtyard.

What the role requires

This is a hands-on, physically active position that involves remaining on your feet for long periods. The right person will combine strong customer service with a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to maintain a smart, composed appearance at all times.

Additional information

A full UK Driving Licence is preferred because valet duties may be part of the role.
