Core responsibilities

• Put in place practices for data quality, ownership, metadata control, and the full data lifecycle.
• Make sure data handling aligns with regulatory obligations, privacy laws, and internal policy requirements.
• Work closely with business, technology, and data teams to strengthen data management workflows.
• Track data quality indicators and lead ongoing improvement efforts.
• Chair or contribute to governance committees, working groups, and other stakeholder forums.

Required profile

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated background in data governance, data management, data quality, or information management.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on exposure to data governance solutions, metadata management, and data quality tools.
• Working knowledge of databases, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics setups.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and lead discussions effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
