Role overview

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join its Global Account Excellence team in Bonn, Germany. This 12-month internship offers practical exposure to reporting, analytics, dashboard development, and data-driven decision support within a collaborative PMO environment.

What you will do

• Collect, clean, and prepare data from a mix of internal and external sources.
• Help build and maintain dashboards and reports, including work in Power BI.
• Carry out basic analysis to spot trends, patterns, and useful insights.
• Support sales reporting and KPI tracking to monitor business results.
• Assist with documentation and ongoing improvements to reporting workflows.
• Work with teammates and stakeholders to understand needs and contribute to analytics projects.

This opportunity is part of a local university-linked internship arrangement in Germany. Applicants must remain actively enrolled in a university program for the full internship period and be able to provide verification documents such as an ID, student visa, and enrollment certificate.

What we are looking for

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a similar discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis methods and statistical ideas.
• Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Some exposure to BI platforms; Microsoft Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Basic SQL knowledge preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work well with others.

Additional information
