Role overview
True Story PR is hiring a full-time Content Creator to support a range of client accounts from a fully remote setup. The role blends social media strategy, email marketing, and blog writing, with an emphasis on producing engaging, brand-aligned content that helps clients meet their goals.
Social media responsibilities
- Build monthly content calendars for clients with their objectives and priorities guiding the plan.
- Create original, strategic copy for multiple brands across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google My Business, and similar channels.
- Source visuals for posts, prepare supporting graphics when required, edit Reels/TikToks, and manage paid campaigns through Meta Business Suite.
- Track performance data, gather analytics for client reporting, and use insights to advise clients.
- Spot opportunities to expand clients onto new social platforms and keep content aligned with current trends and industry themes.
Email marketing and content responsibilities
- Design newsletter campaigns for several clients.
- Compile content, add images, craft descriptions, send campaigns, and report on performance such as open rates and click-throughs.
- Develop funnel strategies and evaluate lead magnets and current funnel performance with suggestions for improvement.
- Write monthly blog posts using keyword-focused content strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional social media management experience for businesses; agency exposure or experience in hospitality, travel, or tourism is considered an advantage.
- Strong interest in creating engaging, entertaining social content.
- Excellent grammar and familiarity with AP style writing.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager.
- Experience using email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and ActiveCampaign.
- Strong judgement for selecting suitable content for campaigns and social channels.
- Ability to write fresh, polished, and audience-appropriate copy in different tones for different brands and platforms.
- Creative mindset paired with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Comfort working productively in a remote environment and communicating openly with a distributed team.
- Self-directed approach to deadline management and status updates using Asana.
- Positive, confident attitude and willingness to keep learning and improving.
Additional information
This is a W2 role offered on a full-time, fully remote basis. Compensation is based on experience and performance.
