Role overview

Loko by The House of Makeba is hiring a Barista for its Ahmedabad café. The role is suited to someone with hands-on coffee experience, a strong service mindset, and the ability to thrive in a busy, customer-facing environment. The selected person will be expected to bring consistency to beverage preparation while contributing to a welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and other drinks with consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
• Keep the coffee counter, tools, and equipment clean and hygienic.
• Deliver warm, attentive service that supports a pleasant café visit.
• Track stock movement and help maintain standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with teammates to keep daily café operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Barista.
• Practical knowledge of espresso machines, coffee brewing techniques, and beverage preparation.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service ability.
• Comfortable working in a team-based environment.
• Positive attitude, careful attention to detail, and a willingness to keep learning.

Compensation

Pay will be aligned with market standards.
