Its senior team supports corporations, financial sponsors, institutional investors and governments with advisory services across shareholder matters, restructuring, special situations, and private fund advisory and placement. Through PJT Park Hill, the firm also provides private fund advisory and capital-raising support to alternative investment managers, including private equity, real estate and hedge fund managers.
The firm places strong value on hiring exceptional people and believes that high-performing teams help attract clients and talented colleagues alike. PJT Partners also emphasizes an inclusive environment that respects different viewpoints and helps the firm deliver stronger advice and insights.
Role Overview
This position is a central part of PJT’s effort to integrate AI into day-to-day business operations. The analyst will work closely with senior leaders to influence how more than 1,000 professionals across global offices adopt and use AI in their work.
The role combines strategy, analysis and execution. It involves examining how different teams operate, identifying pain points and inefficiencies, understanding where AI can save time or improve output, and turning those findings into training, tools and adoption plans. The strongest candidate will be able to recognize patterns across teams and build scalable processes and standards that spread best practices across the firm.
This is a highly visible opportunity with direct access to senior leadership across coverage groups and corporate functions, plus the chance to help shape a major internal transformation from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Work with teams across the organization to understand their workflows and identify the areas where AI can add the greatest value.
- Bring curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how PJT’s businesses operate.
- Create, deliver and support training for different user groups.
- Develop onboarding and enablement sessions for new users.
- Recruit and coordinate a network of internal AI champions to support adoption.
- Prepare briefing materials and presentations for senior management.
- Assess new AI products, tools and vendors.
- Monitor what is effective, what is not, and where improvements are needed.
- Highlight strong use cases and help scale them across the business.
- Maintain working relationships with vendors and the technology organization.
Qualifications
The firm is looking for candidates who are driven, intellectually strong and have shown strong performance in previous academic or professional settings.
- Bachelor’s degree and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience through work, internships or academic projects, preferably with some exposure to investment banking or consulting.
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organization, scheduling and deadline management skills, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
- Comfort interacting and communicating with professionals at all seniority levels.
- Sound judgment, discretion, initiative and a proactive approach.
- Understanding of how deal teams work so the analyst can engage credibly with PJT professionals.
- Interest in AI and the ability to keep learning and applying it in a business setting.
