Zone Specialist

About the role

The Zone Specialist supports the store team by helping customers, keeping the sales floor in good shape, and taking ownership of one assigned area of the store. This position combines customer service, merchandising, and routine store upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise in the assigned department stocked, recovered, and presented according to visual standards.
• Stay up to date on promotions and advertising so customer questions can be answered and sales can be supported.
• Help promote Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
• Assist with truck unloading, pricing, and onboarding/training new associates.
• Maintain the assigned zone in an orderly, tidy condition and take on other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Should bring a positive attitude and work well with customers and team members.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to remain standing for extended periods and work safely.
