Role overview

Nextenti Tech is looking for a careful and capable X-Ray Technician in Hyderabad, India, to carry out diagnostic imaging procedures. The role centers on producing accurate images, safeguarding patients, and following radiation safety and clinical standards at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out physician-requested X-ray examinations.
• Prepare patients for scans and position them properly to capture clear diagnostic images.
• Work with Digital Radiography (DR), Computed Radiography (CR), and traditional X-ray systems.
• Apply radiation protection practices and use safety gear to keep exposure as low as possible.
• Confirm patient details and explain the procedure before starting the scan.
• Check image quality before sending results to the radiologist.
• Keep patient information and imaging records accurate and up to date.
• Do regular equipment inspections and escalate technical faults when needed.
• Keep the imaging area and equipment clean and maintained.
• Follow hospital rules, infection prevention measures, and biomedical waste handling procedures.
• Work closely with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and other staff to keep operations running smoothly.
• Protect patient comfort, privacy, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.

Eligibility

Candidates should hold a B.Sc in Radiology and Medical Imaging.
