Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site driving position in Ajman, Ajman Emirate. The selected driver will be responsible for operating company trucks to move goods safely and efficiently between assigned locations while following road rules, safety procedures, and company policies. The job includes inspecting the vehicle before and after trips, tracking vehicle condition, and raising maintenance concerns when needed. It also involves loading and unloading cargo when required, handling paperwork correctly, keeping delivery records accurate, and communicating professionally with customers and operations staff. Routing instructions must be followed closely, and safe handling practices for fuel or related products should be observed wherever applicable.
Qualifications
- Hands-on truck driving experience, with the ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- A valid CDL Class A or an equivalent heavy-vehicle licence, along with a clean driving history and familiarity with local traffic laws.
- Good communication and customer handling skills for effective interaction with clients, dispatch teams, and colleagues.
- Working knowledge of basic truck checks such as tyres, brakes, lights, and safety gear.
- Ability to understand and follow delivery schedules, route plans, and transport paperwork accurately.
- Strong commitment to safety requirements and compliance with company, local, and national transport regulations.
- Physical capability to remain seated for long periods, assist with loading and unloading when necessary, and work in different weather conditions.
- Experience in fuel, oil, or logistics operations will be considered an added advantage.
