This is an onsite position requiring presence in the Alberta office up to five days per week. Candidates must be located in Canada.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and design artefacts to create practical test approaches and detailed test cases.
  • Help plan, prepare, and run test activities for both system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with business users and SMEs to define scenarios and identify the test data needed.
  • Carry out test cases, check results, and record findings accurately.
  • Raise, monitor, and follow defects until they are resolved.
  • Track test progress and share metrics, risks, and status updates with the project team.
  • Assist technical and business teams with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Confirm testing meets exit criteria and quality expectations.
  • Help improve QA practices and testing workflows over time.
  • Support the use of automation and AI-based testing tools when suitable.
  • Join project meetings and communicate testing status clearly.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in QA, test execution, or UAT coordination.
  • Proven ability to plan tests, write test cases, and execute them effectively.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to coordinate testing.
  • Practical exposure to defect management, test reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Background supporting ERP, SAP, finance, or procurement platforms.
  • Experience with end-to-end Source-to-Pay or procurement-related testing.
  • Solid knowledge of testing methods such as system, integration, regression, UAT, and smoke testing.
  • Experience with JIRA or a comparable defect-tracking tool.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, coordination, and stakeholder-handling skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Exposure to SAP modules, Fieldglass, VIM, SAC, or similar ERP procurement tools.
  • Experience with integration testing, interface validation, and data flow checks.
  • Understanding of ERP implementation and testing lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with automation tools or AI-supported QA tools.
  • Experience on large enterprise or public-sector programs.
  • Comfort with test metrics, dashboards, and QA governance practices.
  • Adaptable problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflict constructively.
