Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site sales position in the Kolkata metropolitan area within the telecom sector. The selected professional will work closely with channel partners and retail customers to present and sell Yogic Software’s offerings, making sure customer needs are fully understood and handled effectively.
Key Duties
The role covers lead generation, delivering product demonstrations and presentations, following up on inquiries, and converting prospects into sales to achieve or exceed targets. It also includes building long-term customer relationships, offering support after the sale, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. In addition, the person in this role will contribute to market research, share product improvement suggestions, and assist with training sessions for partners and team members when required.
Qualifications and Expectations
Applicants should bring strong communication and customer service abilities to interact effectively with channel partners and end users. They should also have solid sales and sales management capabilities to manage pipelines, generate revenue, and meet targets. Training skills are important for explaining product features and value to partners and internal teams.
Applicants are expected to understand the telecom industry and have familiarity with software solutions or SaaS-based products. Comfort with basic computer tools, CRM platforms, and reporting work is also needed. A demonstrated background in business development or field sales, preferably in telecom or a related area, will be an advantage.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may also be considered. The role suits self-driven candidates who can work independently and are willing to travel within the Kolkata metropolitan area and surrounding areas.
