Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Telecaller position in Coimbatore involves reaching out to potential and existing clients, presenting services clearly, and collecting the information needed for recruitment and HR-related assignments. The role also includes responding to incoming queries, keeping call logs updated, maintaining databases, and following up with leads in a timely manner. In addition, the telecaller will coordinate with internal teams, arrange appointments or interviews, and communicate with candidates and clients in a professional and helpful way. Success in this role depends on meeting calling goals, following quality expectations, and maintaining a customer-first attitude in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Place outgoing calls to prospects and current clients to introduce services and gather relevant details for HR and hiring activities.
- Answer incoming calls and handle enquiries with clarity and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate call records and keep databases updated.
- Track and follow up on leads to ensure prompt communication and action.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support recruitment and client servicing tasks.
- Schedule interviews, appointments, or other required interactions.
- Work toward call volume and conversion targets while preserving service quality.
- Handle each conversation with a courteous, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong spoken communication, attentive listening, and a polished phone etiquette are essential.
- Customer service abilities such as patience, empathy, and objection handling are important.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using CRM or calling tools are needed.
- Accuracy in record-keeping and database updates is expected.
- Good time management and organization are required to manage frequent calls and follow-ups.
- A target-driven mindset with the ability to balance speed and quality is necessary.
- Experience in telecalling, call centre work, sales support, or customer support is an added advantage.
- Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification is required; a degree in any field is beneficial.
- English and commonly spoken local languages in Coimbatore are preferred.
