About A1
A1 is developing a proactive AI assistant designed to help everyday users with conversations, errands, planning, and workflow management. The product is centred on dependable long-form execution, persistent context, and completing real-world tasks. It needs to manage step-by-step reasoning, work with external tools, and stay reliable even when model behaviour is unpredictable.
Role overview
This position supports hiring across A1’s product, engineering, and business functions. It is a practical, execution-heavy role that involves partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to keep recruitment moving efficiently and accurately. The opportunity is well suited to someone early in their career who wants direct exposure to how strong technical hiring is done in practice.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening through interview scheduling and offer coordination.
- Find candidates using a combination of channels such as referrals, job boards, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
- Review resumes and run initial candidate conversations to assess fit, interest, and communication skills.
- Arrange interviews, manage schedules, and collect feedback from candidates and hiring managers.
- Keep candidate information accurate and current in the ATS, with a focus on data quality and consistent processes.
- Contribute to recruiting initiatives and process enhancements as the team grows, including candidate experience and employer branding work.
- Help maintain a well-organised, responsive hiring operation that continues to move quickly.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, operations, coordination, or a similar area.
- Fresh graduates with a genuine interest in recruiting are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organisational ability and a careful eye for detail.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, and basic ATS platforms.
- A proactive, learning-focused approach and willingness to take feedback.
- Ability to handle several tasks at once and reliably complete follow-through.
- Previous recruiting exposure is beneficial but not mandatory; attitude, curiosity, and execution are valued most.
