Role overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for bringing in outstanding and diverse talent for amika. This position handles end-to-end recruiting across the business while ensuring candidates have a thoughtful, high-touch experience. The right person will be relationship-driven, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and deeply committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

The role is hybrid with two days per week onsite in Brooklyn, NY. Candidates must be based in the United States and authorized to work there. Compensation is $95,000 plus bonus.

What you'll do

  • Own full-cycle hiring for assigned roles, from intake with the hiring manager through offer stage.
  • Work with hiring managers to shape clear job descriptions and define what success looks like in each role.
  • Find candidates through multiple channels such as job boards, referrals, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
  • Review, interview, and shortlist qualified applicants, then provide detailed evaluations and recommendations.
  • Run the interview process by arranging schedules, gathering feedback, and leading debrief discussions.
  • Help train interviewers and support the creation of structured and consistent interview plans.
  • Deliver excellent candidate communication at every stage, including outreach, application acknowledgment, interview updates, offer communication, and post-offer follow-up.
  • Support employer branding on platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor by maintaining a strong company presence, encouraging employee reviews, and contributing relevant content.
  • Advance DEIB priorities by building varied candidate slates, partnering on inclusive sourcing approaches, and identifying bias in job descriptions or interview workflows.
  • Keep candidate records and ATS data current to support accuracy and hiring transparency.
  • Help create and maintain talent pools for repeat or hard-to-fill positions.
  • Work with the CPO on compensation benchmarking to support competitive offers.
  • Provide every candidate with a positive, responsive, and engaging hiring experience.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in an in-house setting; experience in beauty, consumer goods, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
  • Ability to juggle several open requisitions at once in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong sourcing capability and familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS tools such as Rippling, and creative outreach methods.
  • Clear communication and strong people skills, with the ability to build trust with both managers and candidates.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing projects effectively.
  • Team-oriented approach with initiative and a practical, solutions-first mindset.
  • Strong commitment to DEIB and experience creating diverse candidate slates.
  • Comfort working remotely with occasional travel to the Brooklyn headquarters.
