Role overview
Food Papa is hiring a meticulous and data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to help run and improve core supply chain functions. This position covers procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand planning. The role focuses on turning operational data into practical recommendations that strengthen performance, lower expenses, and make day-to-day processes more efficient.
Key responsibilities
- Review supply chain data to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track stock levels, demand projections, and supply planning work.
- Assist with purchasing, logistics, and distribution workflows.
- Build and update reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Work with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
- Detect supply chain delays or constraints and suggest better ways of working.
- Support forecasting and demand planning tasks.
- Assess supplier performance and help with vendor management activities.
- Maintain accurate data across supply chain platforms and reporting systems.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency.
Qualifications and skills
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline. Prior experience of 1 to 3 years in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or another analytical function is required.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are essential, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills such as PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis. Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau is expected. A solid understanding of supply chain processes, excellent communication, strong organization, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment are also important.
Preferred background
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Exposure to demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management software.
- Basic familiarity with SQL or other data query tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement approaches.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chains is advantageous.
