Position Overview
The Human Resources Supervisor role is based in Doha, Qatar, and supports day-to-day HR operations within a luxury hospitality environment. This position focuses on employee relations, compliance, recordkeeping, scheduling, and coordination of HR processes while helping managers and the leadership team resolve people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Track employee relations matters, help with resolution, and ensure follow-up is completed.
- Support managers and leadership in addressing and resolving HR concerns.
- Oversee hiring and recruitment activities to confirm alignment with local, state, federal, and company rules and standards.
- Escalate employee relations issues to HR leadership when needed.
- Respond to employee and management questions about HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Share information with employees about workplace relations, activities, policies, and programs.
- Maintain employee files and records accurately, including interview documents and I-9 records.
- Coordinate logistics, administration, and scheduling for annual employee surveys.
- Handle incoming phone calls and document messages clearly.
- Help managers with hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, counseling, discipline, and employee motivation.
- Follow company safety, security, and conduct standards, and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
- Protect confidential company information at all times.
- Greet guests according to company service standards and communicate professionally.
- Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support shared team objectives.
- Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is required.
