Role Overview

The Store Manager for the supermarket in Madina is accountable for delivering smooth day-to-day store operations, maintaining service quality, and supporting strong commercial performance. This role focuses on increasing sales, improving profitability, managing stock efficiently, enhancing customer satisfaction, and keeping the business moving forward through well-planned improvement actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the supermarket strategy and operating plans in alignment with Head Office and Corporate Office guidance.
• Use both qualitative and quantitative analysis to review commercial results and suggest ways to improve sales and profitability.
• Drive revenue and margin growth by keeping expenses under control and operating within budget.
• Study stock and sales reports, identify issues, and introduce corrective measures when needed.
• Promote comparison exercises across departments to improve overall commercial effectiveness.
• Work closely with department heads to maintain sound stock control, including stock value, stock availability, ordering, and on-time delivery of merchandise.
• Monitor the upkeep and service condition of store assets.
• Support high standards of hygiene, safety, and security throughout the supermarket.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
• Prior retail experience is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Well-developed people management and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
