Store Manager

About the Role

Gino's Gelato, a fast-growing Irish retail business with several store locations, is looking for a Store Manager in Westport, County Mayo. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who communicates well, enjoys coaching others, and is motivated by improving team performance and store results.

The business is an independent Irish family company focused on delivering an excellent customer experience and maintaining consistently high standards across its stores. The right candidate will take ownership of daily operations and help create a positive, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall day-to-day running and performance of the store.
• Work toward agreed store KPIs and ensure targets are met.
• Build and maintain a strong customer service culture.
• Organize work priorities, assign tasks, and manage team workloads effectively.
• Handle hiring, staff scheduling, and performance management.
• Encourage ongoing improvement and development within the team.
• Maintain strong standards in cleanliness, presentation, merchandising, and health and safety compliance.
• Manage product display and merchandising to support sales and store appearance.

• At least 2 years of experience managing a retail store.

• Base salary of €35,000 per year, depending on experience.
