Role summary
This full-time, on-site position is for a Sales Operations Coordinator based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The role calls for a proactive professional with strong attention to detail and practical experience in handling customer requests, preparing quotations, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating effectively with both customers and suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and RFQs quickly, accurately, and in a professional manner.
- Create precise quotations and manage timely follow-ups with clients.
- Prepare and process purchase orders with accuracy.
- Research, source, and liaise with local and overseas suppliers for industrial products according to client needs.
- Keep organized records of sales activities, orders, customer communications, and supplier correspondence.
- Help ensure on-time delivery and a positive customer experience.
- Assist with day-to-day operational work and administrative support.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal ability.
- Practical experience in handling RFQs, supplier sourcing, and order coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under time constraints.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel for quotations, tracking, and supplier comparisons.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical problem-solving approach.
Preferred background
- Prior experience in a trading environment or a similar industrial procurement role.
- Familiarity with the UAE market.
- Exposure to sourcing from China or other international markets.
