Role overview
NSS Group is hiring a part-time Retail Window Cleaner to carry out low-level window cleaning across retail and commercial sites in the Luton area. This is daytime field-based work with a scheduled route arranged around the postcode where you live.
Working pattern and pay
The role runs from 5:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week. Travel time is paid. The rate is £12.71 per hour, with overtime paid at £13.96 per hour. In some cases, weekend work may be needed.
What you will do
- Move between different sites in your region to provide low-level window cleaning.
- Use both a reach-and-wash system and standard window cleaning tools.
- Work through a planned route based on the postcode area you live in.
- Complete around 15 to 20 jobs each day.
- Usually work alone on individual rounds.
- Handle assignments at locations such as coffee shops, banks, clothing stores, and convenience outlets.
- Follow NSS risk assessments and method statements at all times.
Training and equipment
No previous experience is required, as full training is provided. You will be issued a fully equipped vehicle with a fuel card, along with NSS uniform, PPE, a mobile phone, and all tools needed for the job.

Candidate profile
You should hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, comfortable working independently and within a team, confident using IT or a smartphone, and has good attention to detail and communication skills.
Eligibility and checks
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. DBS checks will be completed for this position.
Recruitment process
