About the Role

The Purchasing Analyst supports the Purchasing Department by handling a range of procurement-related administrative and analytical duties. The position includes assisting with onboarding new vendors, preparing pricing arrangements, monitoring rebate-related payments, reconciling invoices and statements, and contributing to team projects and day-to-day operational support.

This role partners with Purchasing Agents and Managers, New Homes Starts, Vice Presidents, Division Presidents, Vice Presidents of Construction, Project Managers, Accounts Payable teams, Estimators, subcontractors, vendors, and other internal groups as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and verify information needed to set up new vendors.
  • Build, maintain, and organize pricing agreements.
  • Track rebate payments and keep the payment log up to date.
  • Examine subcontractor and vendor invoices, reconcile them, approve them when appropriate, and coordinate related follow-up with other departments.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and vendors, and review monthly statements to confirm account balances and records are accurate.
  • Make sure vendors submit invoice details, account updates, and supporting documents promptly.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of purchasing-related experience is preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
