The person in this role will help define product requirements, write user stories, manage the backlog, and guide product delivery from planning through execution. A major part of the job is making informed product decisions that balance customer needs, stakeholder expectations, and broader business goals.

Key impact

You will own the strategy and execution for specific products within a product group. The role focuses on identifying feature gaps, defining objectives and key results, and ensuring the product contributes to measurable business and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Create product OKRs that support the wider portfolio and company objectives, while keeping key business partners aligned.
  • Own the user journey for a product or feature and collaborate with engineering on decisions that affect usability.
  • Set customer success measures and track whether the product scope is delivering against its goals.
  • Translate the product vision into feature plans and share the roadmap with all relevant partners.
  • Run agile ceremonies and help the team stay clear on priorities, expectations, and delivery goals.
  • Organize work streams and coordinate team members to deliver product value efficiently and on time.
  • Rank priorities and make sure the product is delivered, supported, and executed to a high standard.
  • Work with other product leaders and business stakeholders to weigh trade-offs and decide which features should move first.
  • Influence feature design choices to support broad adoption and critical product outcomes.
  • Partner with product leadership and contribute to engineering prioritization for the assigned product area.
  • Support product marketing efforts to build strong internal understanding of the product among peers and leaders.
  • Use data to shape product plans and help teams align on the direction of the product space.
  • Define functional and technical objectives, along with the data needed for analytics and reporting.
  • Establish key product metrics, monitor product health, and assess business impact over time.
  • Work with engineering teams to create the tracking and monitoring systems needed to collect useful data.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or a similar field; relevant experience may be accepted instead of the education requirement where applicable.
  • At least 2 years of experience across two or more of these areas: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in product management or experience management.
  • Hands-on experience in an agile software environment, paired with strong writing skills.
  • Background working across functions in a large organization.
  • Experience collaborating directly with senior leadership.
  • Ability to turn data into measurable actions and deliverables.

Preferred qualifications

  • A master’s degree in business administration or another advanced degree of similar level is preferred.
