Role Overview

The Plastic Surgeon will deliver comprehensive cosmetic and reconstructive surgical care, from initial consultations and clinical assessment to treatment planning and operative intervention. The position also includes post-operative care, ongoing follow-up, precise record-keeping, and close coordination with other healthcare professionals. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity at the medical center in Doha, Qatar.

Key Duties

• Assess patients through consultations and detailed clinical examinations.
• Create appropriate surgical treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
• Perform cosmetic and reconstructive procedures with a strong focus on safety and outcomes.
• Carry out pre-operative preparation and post-operative evaluation and monitoring.
• Track patient recovery and provide follow-up care as required.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and participate in clinical case reviews.
• Follow established clinical protocols, ethical standards, and safety procedures.
• Support patient education and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
• Stay current with modern techniques, technologies, and international best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in plastic surgery covering both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
• Solid grounding in medicine and surgery, including management of patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Experience in cosmetic surgery with attention to realistic results, evidence-based methods, and patient safety.
• Advanced microsurgery skills, including careful tissue handling and complex reconstructive work.
• Board certification or an equivalent qualification in Plastic Surgery.
• Valid Qatar medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Proven background in hospital or clinical environments with consistently strong patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and a collaborative working style.
• Commitment to continuous learning, clinical governance, and high professional standards.
