Role Overview
SKIMS is looking for a highly analytical Planning Analyst to support inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning for Nike/SKIMS. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, a data-driven mindset, and an interest in fashion and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional partners to build and maintain reliable demand forecasts using historical performance, market signals, and business plans.
- Track inventory performance, review sell-through trends, and flag situations where stock may become too high or too low. Recommend actions that improve inventory turnover and lower carrying costs.
- Use advanced analytical methods to uncover insights, identify improvement opportunities, and support supply chain efficiency and product availability through data-backed recommendations.
- Prepare recurring reports and dashboards that show key planning, inventory, and forecasting metrics, and share insights with leadership.
- Partner with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Design, and Production to ensure planning decisions support broader business objectives.
- Look for ways to improve processes, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Recent graduates with relevant internship exposure, or up to 2 years of experience in demand forecasting, retail merchandising, inventory management, or supply chain planning, ideally within fashion or retail.
- Comfort using analytical tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and forecasting platforms like SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Strong ability to analyze data and trends and turn them into practical decisions.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organization, precision, and attention to detail.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively while balancing several tasks and priorities.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000.
