Role Overview
Zahr Freighters is hiring a dependable and well-organized Office Assistant for its Dubai office. The position is suited to someone who can manage day-to-day administrative work, keep office processes running smoothly, and help maintain a professional, efficient setting within a busy freight and logistics business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support managers and teams with a range of administrative and clerical duties.
- Organize filing, scanning, photocopying, and general document handling.
- Answer phone calls, manage email communication, and route enquiries to the right person.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing mail, courier coordination, and office correspondence.
- Track office supplies and arrange replenishment when stock runs low.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and office schedules.
- Help prepare reports, letters, and other business documents.
- Keep records up to date and maintain databases accurately.
- Provide administrative support to operations and logistics teams as needed.
Requirements
- High school education is acceptable; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is also suitable.
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or office support position.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong ability to stay organized and handle several tasks at once.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal confidence.
- Careful attention to detail when managing records and paperwork.
- Ability to work on your own and balance multiple priorities effectively.
