Mid-Senior Go Engineer — Cross-Platform Endpoint Agent

Role overview

We are looking for a mid-to-senior Go engineer to help build a cross-platform endpoint agent that runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The role is focused on delivering a serious endpoint product, with attention to reliability, low memory usage, and secure operation.

What the work involves

This position is not centered on typical server-side Go development. Instead, the engineering work will cover operating-system-level services, installers, automatic update workflows, code signing, and secure communication with backend systems. The product needs to behave dependably across multiple desktop operating systems.

What makes someone a strong fit

We are seeking someone with hands-on production Go experience, a background in systems, daemon, or desktop software, and confidence working across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Strong concurrency knowledge and disciplined documentation habits are also important.

Nice-to-have experience

Additional advantage will go to candidates who have worked with Python, CI/CD pipelines, application packaging formats such as MSI, DEB, or RPM, or cybersecurity-related tooling and practices.

Location

The opportunity is open to candidates based in Ireland, Finland, or elsewhere in the EU/EEA.
