Mechanical & CAD Specialist - Visual Document Understanding

About the Role

This contract opportunity is for a Mechanical & CAD specialist focused on visual document understanding. The work is fully remote and centers on helping improve AI systems that interpret technical visual documents in the CAD and mechanical space. The commitment is expected to be 15–20 hours each week, and the compensation is $50 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Check how accurately AI models interpret visual documents related to Mechanical & CAD.
• Create demanding, well-defined tasks with clear reference answers and objective scoring criteria.
• Build evaluation rubrics and benchmarks to measure AI-generated outputs.
• Work with domain experts to keep the datasets consistent, accurate, and relevant.
• Operate independently and on your own schedule while meeting deadlines and supporting model improvement.

Requirements

• Strong domain knowledge in Mechanical & CAD.
• Hands-on experience evaluating AI models and working with visual document understanding.
