Role overview
The Conlan Company is looking for a proactive, detail-focused Marketing Coordinator to join its Atlanta (Marietta) office. In this position, you will partner with the Marketing Manager to support construction teams and the wider company brand by producing persuasive proposals, polished presentations, and a range of marketing materials.
This opportunity is well suited to a recent graduate or someone early in their career who wants practical experience in B2B marketing within the construction sector. The role provides exposure to business development, brand stewardship, and project-driven content creation in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Applicants who enjoy graphic design, document formatting, or visual storytelling are encouraged to apply. Formal design experience is not essential, but an eye for clean, organized presentation is highly valued. You will help create client-facing materials, contribute ideas, and grow your marketing capabilities while supporting both project delivery and company growth.
Key responsibilities
- Support the creation of customer-facing proposals and qualification documents that help drive business development.
- Contribute to marketing presentations and visual assets used for client meetings and interviews.
- Help prepare and update project profiles, company brochures, and other promotional materials.
- Assist with website changes and social media content that features projects, company updates, and major milestones.
- Coordinate with construction teams to collect project details, achievements, and visual content for marketing purposes.
- Help arrange project photography and other visual assets that showcase the company’s work.
- Maintain consistency in branding across documents, presentations, and digital platforms.
- Support marketing activities tied to industry events, career fairs, and client presentations.
- Keep marketing templates, project data, and digital files organized and up to date.
Qualifications
Suitable candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a closely related discipline. The role is open to professionals with 0 to 2 years of marketing experience, and internship experience is acceptable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple deadlines in a fast-moving setting. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word is required.
Preferred experience
Additional value will be given to candidates who are familiar with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, or similar design software. Interest in graphic design, page layout, or visual storytelling is also beneficial, as is experience preparing presentations, marketing documents, or proposal materials.
An interest in construction, architecture, or real estate would be an advantage. A portfolio or sample work showing design or presentation ability is optional, but welcome.
