About the role
As part of the Corporate Development function, you will partner across teams such as Product, Legal, Finance, and People Operations to source, assess, and negotiate acquisition and strategic investment opportunities. The role calls for a strong understanding of market dynamics and regional differences, combined with the ability to equip leadership with clear insights for well-informed decisions. You should bring a humble approach, analytical strength, strategic judgment, and the capacity to evaluate both the current state and future possibilities.
The team supports the company’s global expansion by identifying acquisitions and investments that can shape future growth. It includes merger-and-acquisition specialists, investors, strategy and scouting professionals, and integration experts who work to uncover opportunities, assess them, support negotiations, and contribute to post-deal integration and performance review.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product and engineering teams, and coordinate with global agreement teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investors and startup communities across regions.
- Source, assess, and value acquisition and investment opportunities in India and Southeast Asia.
- Support executive decision-making and help lead deal negotiations and completion.
- Oversee integration after transactions and act as a board member or observer for regional investments.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or comparable hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking within the technology sector.
Preferred qualifications
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and use relationships to influence outcomes.
- Experience creating financial models and assessing company value, along with strong analytical and investigative judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Equal opportunity
The employer is committed to fair hiring practices and welcomes applicants regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or criminal history where permitted by law. Accommodation support is available for applicants with disabilities or special needs.
