Role overview

This position is responsible for overseeing manufacturing and packing activities in Goa while ensuring that operations remain aligned with quality, regulatory, and safety expectations. The role also involves managing team capability, maintaining documentation discipline, and supporting product quality and compliance across the function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to cGMP, GxP, and other applicable regulatory standards, including EH&S requirements.
• Complete required self-learning and track training completion for team members on relevant SOPs.
• Review, authorize, and ensure execution of standard operating procedures.
• Handle product recall activities and approve the annual product report.
• Escalate quality issues or improvement ideas to the HOD as needed.
• Carry out and supervise all duties in line with approved SOPs.
• Finish all mandatory trainings mapped to the workgroup “Manufacturing-Manager-Goa” in the L2LMS.
• Ensure manufacturing and packing operations run efficiently to meet sales and distribution needs.
• Make sure products are manufactured and stored according to the required documentation and quality standards.
• Prepare production department documents when required, approve production-related instructions/documents, and ensure they are followed strictly.

Experience

The role calls for 10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing.

Education

A graduation degree in Pharmacy is required.
