Role summary
This is a full-time, on-site Logistics Officer position in Lagos. The role is responsible for running daily logistics activities, managing vehicle coordination, tracking trip timelines, and making sure transport resources are used efficiently. It also includes handling operational stock, supporting warehouse or storage functions where needed, keeping clear documentation, and working with internal teams and outside partners to improve supply-chain performance.
Key duties
The Logistics Officer will help keep operations organized, timely, and compliant while supporting process improvements and a safe working environment.
- Coordinate daily logistics activities, including vehicle dispatch and movement planning.
- Monitor trip schedules and help ensure transportation resources are assigned effectively.
- Track operational inventory, including stock levels, storage arrangements, dispatches, and returns.
- Support warehouse and storage processes when required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and other logistics documentation.
- Work with internal departments and external partners to improve logistics and supply-chain efficiency.
- Identify and help resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Prepare routine reports and support compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Contribute to a clean, orderly, and safe operational environment.
Requirements
Candidates should bring practical logistics experience, strong coordination ability, and confidence using digital tools to manage day-to-day operations.
- Background in logistics, transportation, or operations, ideally in a technology, mobility, or service-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply-chain coordination.
- Experience with inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Good administration skills, including documentation, filing, and report preparation.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort using mobile applications, digital tools, and basic data analysis.
- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
