Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for keeping goods moving efficiently across the Middle East and Africa region by managing shipments, paperwork, and coordination with logistics service providers. The role helps ensure customer delivery commitments are achieved while meeting regional and global trade compliance obligations. It works closely with internal stakeholders and outside partners to support dependable, cost-conscious logistics operations aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange domestic and cross-border shipments while ensuring all documentation is complete and trade rules are followed.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to keep deliveries on schedule.
- Track shipment progress, resolve delays before they escalate, and keep relevant teams informed.
- Draft and verify shipping paperwork such as invoices, packing lists, and transport instructions.
- Contribute to improvements in logistics workflows, cost control, and service performance.
- Partner with planning, customer service, and finance teams to coordinate logistics activities with operational needs.
- Keep logistics and enterprise system records accurate and maintained according to company standards.
- Follow the organization’s Health, Safety, and Environment requirements at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience or solid knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or shipping operations.
- Understanding of import/export workflows and international trade documents.
- Ability to work with digital tools and enterprise systems while maintaining accurate data.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
Preferred Experience
- Background supporting logistics activity in the Middle East, Africa, or other international markets.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, or freight forwarding processes.
- Experience using ERP or logistics management platforms.
- Ability to collaborate across time zones and with multicultural teams.
