Role overview
This part-time remote consulting role supports the Senior Learning Experience Designer and the 500 Global Education team in creating, refining, and delivering high-touch learning experiences for Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, and Accelerator Managers. The position spans the full learning design cycle, including instructional design, content creation, facilitation support, and continuous improvement so that programs stay engaging, unified, and aligned with both learner needs and business goals.
What you will do
- Work with the Senior Learning Experience Designer to assess learning needs, set clear outcomes, and shape hands-on, practice-oriented learning journeys.
- Draft course structures, session-by-session plans, facilitator resources, and participant-facing materials for instructor-led and blended formats.
- Collaborate with speakers and subject matter experts to develop, refine, and schedule presentation materials and speaking sessions.
- Create, maintain, and manage self-paced and blended learning content using digital authoring tools and a learning management system.
- Develop and revise assessments, surveys, and other feedback tools that measure learner progress and program effectiveness.
- Review learner data and evaluation findings to guide improvements in content and learning design.
- Help build and refresh reusable learning templates and modular learning assets.
- Use AI tools and research platforms to support market research, content drafting, learning asset creation, and interpretation of learner feedback.
- Maintain a consistent, high-quality, learner-first experience across live, virtual, and asynchronous delivery modes.
- Plan and prioritize work effectively, juggle several tasks at once, and deliver against agreed timelines.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Education, Learning Design, Instructional Design, Psychology, Business, or a comparable field.
- At least 4 years of experience in adult learning, learning experience design, instructional design, or curriculum development.
- Proven ability to design programs across in-person, virtual live, and asynchronous online formats.
- Strong capability in building engaging, experiential, and peer-based learning experiences.
- Practical experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Articulate Rise/Reach, Thinkific or other LMS platforms, and multimedia software like Camtasia, Adobe Illustrator, or Canva.
- Strong visual design judgment, along with an understanding of usability and accessibility best practices.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience using project management tools and working within project management frameworks.
- Comfort designing for international audiences and culturally diverse learner groups.
- Ability to thrive in a remote setting while managing priorities and stakeholders across a global organization.
- Preferred background includes 2+ years in Venture Capital, entrepreneurship, startups, innovation ecosystems, or artificial intelligence.
