Internal Audit Supervisor (Operations)

Role Overview

The Internal Audit Supervisor (Operations) oversees operational audit work, construction project audits, forensic examinations, and other ad hoc review assignments. The role focuses on planning and delivering audits in line with internal audit standards, assessing the strength of internal controls, spotting operational risk areas, and recommending practical improvements that support stronger governance, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operational audit engagements from the planning stage through final reporting.
• Carry out construction project audits, forensic reviews, and other special audit tasks as needed.
• Build audit programs, complete risk assessments, and assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Audit functions across operations, construction projects, supply chain, QHSE, and operations & maintenance (O&M).
• Detect control gaps, operational exposure, and opportunities to improve processes.
• Check adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Track the progress of corrective actions and verify closure of audit observations.
• Write concise audit reports with clear findings and workable recommendations.
• Support and coach junior auditors throughout the audit cycle.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and standards-compliant audit working papers and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, QHSE, or Operations & Maintenance is required.
• At least 6 years of experience in internal audit, including operational audits and construction project audits.
• Background in operational auditing across construction, infrastructure, industrial, or facilities environments.
• Strong command of both English and Arabic, spoken and written.

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is full-time and on-site.
