Infrastructure Engineer (Entra ID, JAMF)

About the role

Clarivate is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support and strengthen enterprise infrastructure across complex hybrid environments. The role centers on Microsoft 365 and identity technologies, operational stability, security-focused infrastructure practices, and the ability to handle critical incidents with a high level of ownership.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise infrastructure in mixed cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and services, including Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and hybrid identity setups.
• Proven capability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve major infrastructure incidents from start to finish.
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, compliance expectations, and ITIL-driven operational practices.
• Ability to script and automate tasks, with PowerShell being a particularly valuable skill.

Nice to have

• Experience with endpoint and device management platforms such as Intune or JAMF.
• Exposure to vulnerability management, security tooling, and data governance solutions such as Defender and Purview.
• Background in supporting large infrastructure rollouts or cloud migration projects.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, APIs, infrastructure as code, or multi-cloud environments.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Azure, Security, or Microsoft 365, or equivalent practical experience.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve advanced infrastructure issues across cloud-based and on-premises systems.
• Design, deploy, and continuously improve infrastructure solutions with emphasis on reliability, security, and performance.
• Own change management tasks, including deployments, upgrades, and system enhancement activities.
• Partner with Security, Networking, Cloud Operations, and external vendors to address organization-wide technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance, support junior engineers, and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations.
