Role Overview
Accentuate Staffing is hiring a contract HR Project & Training Specialist to provide short-term support to the Human Resources team during an HRIS rollout and related operational changes. The assignment is designed to keep training, documentation, and change-readiness work moving while the internal HR staff stays focused on day-to-day HR operations.
This position will take over active training tasks, contribute to HR project work, build process documentation, and prepare materials that help employees, managers, and the HR team adapt to future-state processes.
This is a fully remote opportunity, but the selected candidate must be based in North Carolina.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage existing HR training activities throughout the HRIS implementation period.
- Assist with HR project coordination, progress tracking, and follow-up actions.
- Develop training content for end users.
- Prepare learning resources for managers and employees.
- Document workflows for new or revised HR processes.
- Draft standard operating procedures for future-state processes.
- Create job aids, quick guides, and step-by-step reference documents.
- Help build change-readiness materials.
- Support communications tied to HR process or system updates.
- Monitor completion of training tasks and deliverables.
- Work with HR subject matter experts to confirm training and documentation accuracy.
- Organize materials for use by employees, managers, and HR team members.
- Assist with meeting follow-ups, action items, and project records as needed.
- Ensure HR processes are documented clearly, consistently, and in a user-friendly format.
Key Deliverables
- End-user training plan
- Training materials for managers and employees
- HR workflow documentation
- Future-state SOPs
- Job aids and quick reference guides
- Change-readiness materials
- Draft communications related to training or process readiness
- Training tracker or readiness checklist
- HR process documentation library
Business Need
This role exists to preserve HR team capacity during implementation and transition work. Without dedicated support for training, documentation, and readiness, HR staff would need to create these materials while also handling regular operational duties.
The contractor will enable HR subject matter experts to guide the work and validate content without needing to personally produce every training resource or process document.
Minimum Qualifications
- Background supporting Human Resources projects, training, or process documentation.
- Excellent written communication, documentation, and organization skills.
- Ability to develop clear SOPs, training guides, job aids, and quick-reference materials.
- Comfort working with HR subject matter experts and turning process details into practical, user-facing content.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several deliverables at once.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous exposure to HRIS implementations or system change projects.
- Experience creating training materials for managers or employees.
- Experience documenting HR workflows or operational procedures.
- Knowledge of HR areas such as onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee relations, talent management, or compliance.
- Experience supporting organizational change or process improvement initiatives.
Additional Information
This is a contract role with full-time remote work. Candidates must be located in North Carolina. No stipend or salary amount was specified in the source details.
