Role Summary
This position is for a practical, proactive HR & Operations Manager based in Dubai. The role serves as the main support for local office operations, HR administration, and people processes, while working directly with the General Manager and partnering with HR Operations Managers in Malaysia, Thailand, Cyprus, and Colombia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage everyday office operations, including supplies, facilities, and equipment upkeep.
- Take the lead on the planned office move, from preparation through coordination and execution.
- Supervise and coach the Admin Specialist in the Dubai office.
- Handle day-to-day administrative work and support teams with operational workflows.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Administer petty cash and assist in preparing financial reporting inputs.
- Organize meetings, appointments, and staff travel arrangements.
- Maintain HR administration such as employee files, leave records, and document control.
- Ensure activities remain aligned with UAE labour regulations and internal company standards.
- Support employee visa processing and guide staff through the application steps.
- Oversee onboarding and help new hires settle into the organization.
- Build, update, and reinforce HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with performance reviews and employee development initiatives.
- Work with the global HR team to improve systems, workflows, and operational processes.
- Provide regular operational and HR updates to the General Manager.
- Handle additional tasks and projects as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Previous experience in office management, HR operations, or HR administration.
- Strong familiarity with Dubai's labour market and effective hiring practices.
- Good working knowledge of UAE labour legislation and visa procedures.
- Experience in fintech is advantageous.
- A self-starting approach with the confidence to work independently.
- Composed and dependable when handling high-pressure situations.
- Exposure to HRIS platforms such as BambooHR is considered a plus.
Working Conditions
This is an on-site role in Dubai, with offices located in Al Barsha and DMCC. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
