About the client
The employer is a rapidly expanding buyer’s agency that helps Australians create long-term wealth through well-planned property purchases. The business has been built over the last decade by its owners, who are still closely involved in daily client meetings, opportunity presentations and overall growth.
This position exists to hand over operational control to a trusted leader so the founders can concentrate on expansion, strategic alliances and client relationships. As the organisation has grown, it now needs stronger leadership, clearer accountability and better systems to support the next stage of scale.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity, not a routine upkeep role. The successful person will be expected to question existing ways of working, introduce improvements and help shape the company’s future direction.
Role overview
You will own the operational side of the business by bringing structure, improving efficiency, developing people and ensuring the company can grow without the owners being involved in every decision.
Key focus areas
- Lead and coach teams across sales, administration and client services.
- Strengthen accountability, performance expectations and workplace culture.
- Assess current systems and procedures and implement smarter ways of working.
- Support sales outcomes, pipeline oversight and broader business expansion.
- Track KPIs, prepare reporting and monitor overall performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with important referral partners and other stakeholders.
The role is best suited to someone who enjoys developing teams, lifting performance and building the operational base needed for long-term, scalable growth.

About you
The ideal candidate may already be working as a General Manager, Head of Operations, State Manager or another senior leader in house & land, channel sales, property, real estate, construction or a similar industry.
More important than the exact sector background is the ability to lead people, build accountability, improve processes and create systems that can scale.
Experience and background
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or operational management position.
- Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in improving business results and operational efficiency.
- Experience working in a smaller business that is in a growth phase.
