Role Overview

The General Labourer will handle day-to-day site tasks to support work completion in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner. The position is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent full-time onsite role with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Key Duties

  • Follow company safety rules and procedures at all times.
  • Observe and comply with any safety rules specific to the worksite.
  • Take part in safety discussions and checks such as daily tailgate meetings and last-minute risk assessments.
  • Collaborate effectively with coworkers and support the site team.
  • Operate and assist with servicing small equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, shears, and stationary balers.

  • Use power tools and small hand tools correctly and with basic understanding.
  • Carry out pre-use equipment inspections before operations begin.
  • Clean, lubricate, and refuel equipment, and keep the work area tidy.
  • Report needed repairs or maintenance to the supervisor or repair shop.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by the team.
