Overview

This role sits within the maintenance function and is focused on keeping field operations reliable, efficient, and supported by strong technical know-how. The position plays an important part in reducing equipment downtime by improving maintenance workflows and strengthening service quality.

Role summary

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will serve as the connection point between the maintenance team and field operations. Your work will center on identifying process improvements, enhancing maintainability and reliability, and supporting better equipment design through practical troubleshooting and structured maintenance methods. Training will be provided to help you build expertise and deliver high-quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Spot and document opportunities to improve equipment maintainability and reliability.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles to streamline work and refine maintenance practices.
• Stay up to date on new equipment, technologies, and maintenance techniques.
• Promote strong data discipline and service quality within the maintenance organization.
• Support planning activities for equipment and maintenance resources.
• Use asset management and maintenance system data to guide decisions and improvements.

Skills and development

This position is suitable for electrical or mechanical maintenance technicians who can diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and contribute to a safe, efficient working environment. You will complete a structured training program and receive manager support as you develop the capabilities needed to succeed.

Requirements

• Must satisfy the minimum degree and/or experience criteria for the role.
