Role Overview

Adani Power is seeking a Deputy Manager for Stores at its Mundra, Gujarat location. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on customs coordination and logistics support within a plant environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete process for customs clearance related to import and export consignments.
• Make sure all customs-related filings, records, and supporting documents meet regulatory standards.
• Work closely with customs officers, freight partners, and port representatives to keep shipments moving smoothly.
• Handle logistics planning across transport, storage, and inventory movement.
• Look for ways to cut inbound and outbound logistics costs while improving operational efficiency.
• Track shipment progress and delivery timelines, and take prompt action when delays arise.
• Keep precise records for customs paperwork, duty payments, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure materials are available on time.
• Adopt and enforce effective practices for logistics and customs handling.
• Guide, support, and supervise junior logistics team members at the plant.

Qualifications

• Need 3 to 8 years of professional experience in customs and logistics, ideally within the power generation or manufacturing sector.
• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
