Overview
Shaded The Studio is a social-led creative agency that helps brands grow through effective content, creative direction, production, and paid social. The studio partners with ambitious beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and consumer brands to produce work that blends strong storytelling with engagement and commercial impact.
This part-time Creative Strategist position is designed for someone who can combine strategic thinking with practical coordination. The role sits across creative ideation and delivery, supporting campaigns, shoots, client communication, and internal planning while helping shape content that performs on both organic and paid channels.
Role details
- Location: London, with a hybrid setup of 2–3 days each week in the North London studio
- Contract length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension or a future permanent position
- Working pattern: 20 hours per week, typically 4 hours a day across 5 days
- Salary: approximately £32,000 pro rata
What you’ll do
You will help guide creative direction across client accounts, develop concepts for social campaigns, turn trends and data into actionable ideas, and support the smooth running of projects from briefing through delivery. The position requires someone who enjoys both the thinking behind strong creative and the organisation needed to keep production moving.
Creative strategy
- Shape creative concepts for paid and organic social activity
- Draft clear, engaging briefs for creators and production teams
- Build moodboards and direction documents to support execution
- Track trends, emerging formats, and platform opportunities
- Turn performance findings into practical creative recommendations
- Contribute to ideation workshops and client strategy conversations
- Support creative testing and results-led content development
- Keep current with standout creative across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and new platforms
Performance and insights
- Interpret what encourages engagement, conversions, and broader social performance
- Review campaign results and pull out key takeaways
- Assist with reporting and analysis of creative output
- Use audience behaviour and data to help shape future ideas
- Work with core metrics across both paid and organic social channels
Client and project support
- Work alongside the Head of Production on client accounts and delivery
- Join client meetings and contribute creative input
- Help with day-to-day updates and communication when needed
- Support feedback rounds and amendment workflows
- Coordinate approvals, selects, and asset handover
- Help keep timelines, milestones, and deliverables on track
Production support
- Attend shoot days when required
- Check that output stays aligned with approved briefs and direction
- Support creators, talent, and production teams on set
- Assist with quality checks and creative review
Agency marketing
- Support the founders with the studio’s own social content and marketing activity
- Contribute ideas for agency content, thought leadership, and brand-building initiatives
Experience and background
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in a creative, social, digital, or media agency and a solid understanding of how social-first content works. You should be comfortable building briefs and moodboards, understand the difference between paid and organic social, and know the principles behind creative performance and content testing. Strong communication, presentation, and organisational ability are essential, along with confidence in handling multiple priorities and deadlines at once.
