About SCRL
SCRL creates products that help millions of creators produce social content every day. The company is a fast-moving team based in Stockholm, Sweden, and is expanding with a new San Francisco office. It is hiring a Creative Strategist to lead paid social creative for the US market and help accelerate the company’s growth in the United States.
The role focuses on developing high-performing ad creative and putting systems in place so winning ideas can be repeated and scaled.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of creative strategy for the US market, with success measured by ads that consistently acquire users at scale.
- Use performance metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and ROAS to shape creative direction and form testable ideas.
- Plan and run weekly creative tests, then turn the outcomes into clear insights.
- Develop the research base for creative decisions, including trend analysis, competitor reviews, and audience studies.
- Work closely with motion and graphic designers from the idea stage through final delivery.
- Create frameworks for concept variation, testing speed, and refresh cycles to reduce creative fatigue.
- Provide precise, useful feedback across multiple rounds of revisions with both internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate is someone who can identify concepts that scale rather than producing isolated one-offs. They should be able to build repeatable systems around what performs well, understand what makes consumers stop and take action, and stay closely tuned to platform trends and ad performance.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in creative strategy or performance marketing.
- A portfolio showcasing paid social creative that delivered measurable acquisition outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to turn audience insights into creative ideas that convert.
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and native ad formats for the platform.
- Experience leading creative strategy rather than only executing briefs from others.
- Excellent writing skills for briefs, post-mortems, and creative rationale.
- A history of giving feedback that improves quality without slowing the workflow.
- Comfort with independently pulling and interpreting performance data.
Preferred Background
- Experience in consumer apps, SaaS, or creator-focused products.
- Hands-on creative production experience for Meta advertising.
- Experience in high-volume test-and-learn creative environments.
