Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Arabic-speaking creative professional to guide the creative function and raise the standard of both still visuals and video output. In this role, you will direct the creative workflow from idea stage through final delivery, making sure every asset reflects the brand identity and meets a high visual bar. Your leadership will influence the overall look and feel of marketing communication and help drive fresh, engaging content across channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the creative team in delivering strong static visuals and video assets for campaigns, internal initiatives, and advertisements.
- Manage the video editing workflow so that all outputs align with brand expectations, creative direction, and quality standards.
- Shape and improve creative ideas, visual directions, and layouts for digital, print, and video use.
- Maintain consistency with Metro Brazil’s brand guidelines across all creative materials.
- Guide projects from early concepting through final handoff, ensuring work is polished, on-brand, and delivered on schedule.
- Coach junior designers and video editors through feedback, mentoring, and professional development support.
- Keep up with current design and video trends, tools, and technologies, and apply relevant improvements to the team’s work.
- Work closely with project managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of projects.
- Share creative ideas and solutions with internal teams and adapt concepts based on feedback and changing requirements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a background in graphic design, fine arts, or a similar discipline, along with practical experience leading or contributing at a senior level in creative work. Experience in an agency setting is considered beneficial, and knowledge of web design, motion graphics, or 3D design will be an advantage.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience as an art director or senior designer with strength in both static design and video editing.
- A portfolio that clearly demonstrates creative thinking, visual quality, and video capability.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, along with video tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a collaborative and supportive working style.
- Excellent communication skills for working across departments and with multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, visual storytelling, and video production principles.
- Careful attention to detail and a commitment to producing refined, high-impact creative work.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written, is required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver within deadlines without sacrificing quality.
