About the Role

Cracker Barrel is looking for a part-time Cook in Evansville, Indiana. In this kitchen role, you’ll help prepare the dishes guests know and love, from breakfast items like pancakes to comforting meals served throughout the day. The position is centered on teamwork, speed, and consistency, with each shift offering a chance to create food that feels familiar and satisfying.

What You’ll Be Doing

You may be assigned to prep ingredients, plate menu items, or cook dishes during busy service periods. The role calls for focus, coordination, and the ability to keep up in a lively kitchen while supporting the broader team experience.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, collaborates well with others, learns quickly, manages several tasks at once, and brings a positive attitude to every shift. Prior restaurant experience is not required, since training will be provided.
