About the Role
In this role, you will contribute to consulting projects centered on operational improvement, warehouse automation, network optimization, and supply chain strategy. You will be part of a collaborative consulting team that studies client operations, turns data into recommendations, and helps ensure projects are executed successfully. The position offers exposure to different industries, technologies, and client settings, along with increasing responsibility as you develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply a strong analytical lens to each client supply chain and keep digging until the underlying issue is resolved.
- Support defined client engagements as a member of the consulting team.
- Work closely with the project manager to help drive strong outcomes for each assignment.
- Complete assigned work according to project timelines and maintain urgency around key milestones.
- Contribute to supply chain and logistics consulting projects across a variety of industries.
- Review operational, financial, and supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Build evidence-based recommendations and assist in solution development.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver client value.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and onsite operational reviews.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other client materials that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- Own assigned tasks and milestone deliverables with accountability and a strong sense of urgency.
- Use continuous improvement thinking and structured problem-solving to address client challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Mathematics, or a related discipline is required.
- Two to five years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or consulting is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including comfort working with large datasets.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with other analytical tools; knowledge of SQL or relational databases is helpful.
- Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines at the same time.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with clients and internal teams.
- Self-motivated approach with curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Professional demeanor, adaptability, and strong ethical standards.
- Ability to travel regularly to KPI COEs, up to 25%, as needed.
