Role overview
This position is based in Waterford, Kilmacthomas and is a site-based cleaning role with Mitie, a facilities management and professional services business operating across cleaning, security, technical services, industrial cleaning, energy and sustainability, and consultancy. The company supports public and private sector clients in improving efficiency, lowering costs, strengthening sustainability, and lifting overall performance.

Working pattern and pay
The shift pattern runs from Monday to Saturday for 1 hour per day. Cleaning is scheduled either after 9:30pm or before 8:30am. The role totals 6 hours per week. The hourly rate is €14.80. Salary is listed as negotiable.
Main duties
You will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by carrying out routine cleaning tasks across the site.
- Wash and vacuum floors.
- Perform high-touch surface cleaning.
- Clean desks, chairs, and nearby workspaces.
- Dust desks, chair legs, and other surfaces up to hand height.
- Clean kitchen equipment and workplace appliances.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
- Clean and sanitise toilets and bathrooms.
- Keep all assigned areas tidy, hygienic, and presentable.
- Work in line with health and safety requirements at all times.

The ideal candidate should pay close attention to detail, be comfortable working on their own or as part of a team, and bring a dependable, punctual attitude to work. Prior cleaning experience would be useful, though it is not a must.
