Cleaner / Custodian - Day Shift

Role overview

Uline is hiring a Day Shift Cleaner / Custodian to help keep its facilities in excellent condition. This position supports a clean, safe, and professional environment across warehouse areas, outdoor spaces, and employee work areas. The role offers pay from $27 to $31 per hour, along with strong growth and earning potential.

Working hours

This position includes two daytime schedules: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Both shifts run Monday through Friday, with no overnight work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning across warehouse, yard, building, and rack areas, including sweeping and mopping.
• Remove trash and corrugated waste using a compactor.
• Maintain clean restrooms.
• Use floor-scrubbing equipment, including electric and propane models, as well as other cleaning tools.
• Prepare employee workstations and clean them afterward.
• Help arrange rooms for meetings and restore them after use.
• Provide general cleaning and labour support as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning work is necessary.
• Good eye for detail and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
