Role overview

We are seeking a technically strong software architect with advanced C++ and Linux development experience to support work on a database product. The role calls for hands-on expertise in Linux internals and modern C++ development, along with the ability to contribute to core product engineering at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Build and troubleshoot features directly in a Postgres-based database product.
• Design and develop foundational capabilities for PostgreSQL.
• Create cloud-oriented functionality, including data ingestion from data lakes and support for additional data types.
• Develop connectors for database products.

Required expertise

• Strong C++ architecture and development background.
• Practical experience fixing defects and developing database products on Linux using C and C++.
• Solid familiarity with enterprise databases such as Oracle, Netezza, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
• Good command over Linux systems and development workflows.

Location and employment details

This is a full-time onsite role based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, with consideration for all Persistent locations. The position requires more than 10 years of experience.
